Rural Community Development
Parish Plans and other community participation exercises can provide rural communities with the opportunity of deciding how they want their community to develop in the future. CCB can help in the process by providing expertise.
The Environmental Trust for Berkshire
CCB is responsible for the administration of the Environmental Trust for Berkshire. The Environmental Trust can help local organizations access funds of around £100,000 each year for environmental projects in Berkshire.
The West Berkshire Rural Transport Partnership (RTP) covers the area of the West Berkshire Council. The RTP’s aim is to enhance rural transport services in West Berkshire, to secure long term improvement in access to work, services and social activities and to improve access for visitors to the countryside.
The Community Council for Berkshire
The Community Council for Berkshire (CCB) is one of a national network of independent charities working to overcome social exclusion. The CCB has a particular remit to enhance and enable communities in rural villages and towns.

Potholes Giving Local Drivers a Problem
LEAVING US IN A DITCH? Potholes are becoming more and more of a problem in Berkshire due to a lack of local maintenance funding and the changes in the UK weather. Potholes despite being seen as a miner problem they can affect so many drivers on a daily basis.
